Online Registration for the fall season will remain open for a few more weeks on the MPTLL website. Once again MPTLL will offer T-Ball, Softball, Baseball, and Challenge programs this fall. Please reference the league website if you have questions about these programs. In addition click the following links if you are: interested in coaching a team; interested in becoming a sponsor during the fall season; unable to find an answer to your specific question on the league website ( to send your question). See you at the fields!
Construction on the new Stadium is underway and the new concession stand building is out of the ground. Once complete we will have additional restrooms, a small meeting room, another covered pavilion and a stadium where all MPTLL players will want to play. The stadium foundation is built and the stadium components will arrive in the next few months and then be assembled at the fields. Our general contractor has assured us the project will complete sometime in September. While construction is underway, MPTLL has been busy building two new fields; a new equipment storage area; a new retaining wall in between the T-Ball fields and the Grier Heights fields; and a drainage project next to the right field line at Wade Field. The league is also working out the details on an upgrade project for Bissell Field that will be announced soon.
Little League® International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information, that includes the latest bat information, current Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats, definition of terms, the moratorium on the use of composite bats, and a series of frequently asked questions, with answers and licensed bat lists. Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.
