MPTLL is currently seeking team and sign sponsorships for the 2017 spring season and beyond. 2017 marks the 66th consecutive year our volunteer organization has operated and we are excited about our record. A large number of local and national businesses use our sponsorships as an excellent way to gain exposure and support a great youth activity. More than 1,000 Myers Park Trinity Little Leaguers, ages 5-14, will play T-Ball, baseball, and softball on our fields during 2017. Click here if you or your company is interested in learning more about our sponsorship opportunities.
Little League® International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information, that includes the latest bat information, current Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats, definition of terms, the moratorium on the use of composite bats, and a series of frequently asked questions, with answers and licensed bat lists. Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.
MPTLL recently published our 2017 calendar. Parents can click here to view important dates for the upcoming spring season. Please note these dates are based on what we know at this time and they are subject to change. We continually update the calendar throughout the year as we receive information from outside organizations.
Little League Baseball is an organization designed to build good citizens. It is a program of leadership, preparing today’s youth to be tomorrow’s leaders. At the local level, MPTLL relies on a devoted legion of volunteers to help ensure the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. Anyone can apply to become a volunteer including grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, retirees, community leaders, former Little Leaguers, friends, and neighbors. Any community member who wishes to become a volunteer may apply. Parents of children involved with MPTLL are strongly encouraged to volunteer to spend quality time with your child in a safe, fun-filled environment.
