This Saturday (April 21) is team picture day at MPTLL. MPTLL provides all players and coaches with a team picture so parents only need to purchase individual pictures. Those parents that wish to purchase individual pictures are asked to arrive early and also print and bring the completed order form to help speed up the process. Team picture events will be added to each team schedule so parents will receive email, text, and mobile app alert reminders when they need to have their child at the fields. Pictures this year will be taken in the area behind left field of Founders field which is also right next to the T-Ball fields.
Parents of interested, eligible, and available baseball players are required to register their player(s) for all-star consideration prior to Saturday, May 19. Interest and availability does not guarantee your child will be placed on a post season team. Typically, only 12-14 kids in each age group are selected. However, if enough interest is shown and it is determined that an age group can support a second team then MPTLL will take it under consideration. Tournament teams are selected by the Major League (for ages 10-12) and Minor League (for 8 and 9-year olds) coaches. Those selections are made after the regular season ends. Please note, participation requires a substantial time commitment and the expectation is that players give priority to team activities during the relevant periods.
